Tara Starling is often described as The Beauty Architect, providing women the blueprints and tools to transform themselves and their lives from the inside-out. As an international celebrity makeup artist for the last 15 years, working on over 40 films, she has worked with some of the most famous people in the world and on some of the highest-grossing films in cinematic history.
In 2001 Tara took a leap of faith when she opened a romantic boutique called Anastasia’s Attic, and with no schooling other than her BFA in Musical Theater, saw her vision grow into a million-dollar business with fans all over the country. She realized that if someone who had flunked math and hated business (and whose only real-world experience was performing and putting makeup on people for a living!) could create that level of success and fulfillment, then it really was possible for every person to achieve their dreams.
Tara is the creator of “Star in Your Own Life,” a transformational program which breaks women free from “the ugly lies about appearance and worth,” connects them on a spirit-level with their own intrinsic beauty, and teaches them the skills and tools to live the role of Leading Lady in their own lives. As an inspirational speaker and best-selling author, she empowers women to harness the beauty and brilliance within them as they use universal laws of creation to live the fabulous life of their dreams. She co-authored the #1 Best-selling book ”Living Proof: Celebrating the Gifts that Came Wrapped in Sandpaper” with Lisa Nichols, and is currently working on “The Law of Attractiveness.”
Tara is one of the founders of BE•THE•BEAUTY, a non-profit organization which facilitates and supports giving & service in communities all over the country. She believes that dark chocolate is its own food group, has a penchant for swarovski crystals and bagpipes, and dotes on Goliath, her baby sulcatta tortoise, and Godfrey, her little pigmy goat.
